What is Rotten Head Festival?
Two and a half days of great live music from Hong Kong and Macau's best musicians, DJs and entertainers. Rotten Head Festival will be set over 2 stages in the shadow of Lantau Peak at Treasure Island Beach Club, Pui O, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. ​
Expect a chilled beach atmosphere, local and western bands, cool AF DJs keeping the vibes and 500 people sharing a life-affirming moment.

Don't let the fun end
To make sure you can pack in the fun and we don't annoy the neighbours, Rotten Head Festival will move the fun inside once it gets late with an awesome DJ set with a stunning view of Pui O beach. Drinks and music will flow until 1am.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Alan Chung and Andrew Spires were sitting with their kids in a park in Tung Chung, in the shadow of mighty Lantau Peak (Lan Tao literally translates to broken or rotten head) in 2018 when the idea of a festival came to life. Over the next year they grafted to find a venue and were just a week and a half away from opening the doors on the original Rotten Head Festival in 2019 when the political situation forced the event to be cancelled.

Not to be set back by such matters, the duo persisted and after a lengthly search and a bit of a lucky meeting, Rotten Head Festival found its home at AIA Vitality Park at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel.

Then COVID happened. We thought Rotten head Festival was dead; that we'd never get a chance, after 3 attempts, to bring our dream to life and party with you all, but like a phoenix out of the ashes, we're back, baby!
​
Rotten Head Festival is a celebration of all things Hong Kong, from music to food and drink and crafts. It's designed specifically to be enjoyed by everyone, from young professionals to families.
​
The event is over THREE days:
Friday afternoon for those looking to unwind after a long week. Enjoy a night with friends, live music and tasty food and drinks. The music will be known and will be very hard not to sing along to.
Saturday will be a WHOLE DAY of live music and DJs. We've got world-class musicians putting on a show you won't forget.
Sunday is pure chilled, with a day dedicated to relaxed Lantau vibes. Expect games, face painting and music that will rock your socks off
